Chief Executive Officer Robert Olsen was recently selected as a member of the region’s prestigious Smart100 CEO organization. Together with 99 other Chief Executive Officers (CEOs), Olsen was selected to represent the top echelon of business owners from the Washington D.C., Baltimore and Philadelphia region.
The Smart100 is an exclusive group of 100 CEOs who represent the region’s most influential business leaders. The members of this elite organization have a passion for entrepreneurship and are dedicated to SmartCEO’s mission to educate and inspire fellow business leaders. As a Smart100 CEO, Olsen will serve as an advisor and sounding board for more than 50,000 Mid-Atlantic business owners. Additionally, Olsen will share his business and entrepreneurial insight in contributions to the SmartCEO magazine, the Smart100 book and presentations at exclusive CEO-level business events.
In 2011, SmartCEO will assemble a founding group of 100 CEOs – no more, no less – who will become the Smart100. Once a CEO is selected and joins this exclusive group, he or she holds a permanent membership in the Smart100, and membership is limited to only 100 businesses owners at one time. As Smart100 members retire, sell their businesses or move from the Mid-Atlantic region, SmartCEO and the board will induct new members to the Smart100.
“I am honored and grateful to be selected as a Smart100 CEO,” said Robert Olsen, North Star Group Chief Executive Officer. “North Star Group and its federal and private sector clients will benefit significantly from access and input from this prestigious organization. I look forward to working closely with the leaders and members of SmartCEO and Smart100 in the months and years ahead.”
