North Star Group Partners With IBM09 September 2011

North Star Group, LLC has entered into a Mentor-Protégé Agreement with International Business Machines Corporation, Global Government Industry (IBM) in a joint effort to pursue a significant contract with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Under the terms of the agreement, IBM’s Global Business Services division will support North Star Group with activities to improve marketing abilities, strengthen proposal development, enhance networking with potential customers, and mature business processes.

With 15 years experience supporting the FAA Office of Financial Management, IBM brings extensive experience and expertise to the table.  North Star Group is a young company with a solid foundation in the federal contract sector.  As North Star Group continues to grow, the company will now have access to IBM’s marketing personnel, which will provide support to North Star in proposal processes, contract bid decisions and other key business areas.

“We look forward to learning from IBM’s vast experience, talent pool and capabilities in this important partnership,” said Robert Olsen, North Star Group Chief Executive Officer.  “North Star Group and its federal and private sector clients will benefit significantly from access and input from this historic and prestigious company.  We look forward to working closely with IBM leadership and employees in the months ahead.”
